Nyingchi Transportation
Nyingchi region can be accessed from the two provinces via the Chuanzang (Sichuan-Tibet) Highway and the Dianzang (Yunnan-Tibet) Highway. Most of counties in Nyingchi region are conveniently within reach of road networks. Moreover, Tibet's third airport, Nyingchi Airport has been launched since the September in 2006. Nyingchi airport
Since Sep.1st 2006, Nyingchi airport has been launched. It is the third airport in tibet area. Known as 'the world's most difficult airport for planes to reach', Nyingchi Airport is situated in the valley of Yarlung Zangbo River in the Southeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
