Gongbo'gyamda County, is a county of the Nyingtri Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region, it means "great outlet of the valley" in Tibetan. Gongbo'gyamda County is located in the east of the Tibet Autonomous Region, to the south of the Nyainqentanglha Mountains, to the north of the Yarlung Zangbo River and in the area of the middle branches of the Nyang River. Medog County

Zayu County
Zayu means "inhabitation" in Tibetan. Zayu County is located in the southeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region and east of the Nyingchi area. It is one of the frontier county of Nyingchi. With a population of 250,000, Zayu County covers an area of 31,659 square kilometres. The average altitude of the county is 2,300 metres above sea level. Zayu, like a water town only found in South China, Zayu is fertile place at the convergence of the Himalayas and Hengduan Mountains. It is crisscrossed by rivers and the weather is moderate throughout the year. There are rice, vegetables and fruit growing on terraces and plains.
